Discover Spain’s eastern coast
The Catalan countryside is home to Roman ruins, charming villages and lots of beautiful architecture.
We could start in Barcelona and continue into the beautiful Spanish Countryside through the rolling hills of Tarragona and continue to Valencia before ending our journey in Alicante. Barcelona is known for Gaudi’s best known masterpiece “ Basilica de la Sagrada Familia” and the Park Guell with Gaudi’s brilliant mosaics. Visit the Picasso Museum located in the palaces of La Ribera and the Plaça de Catalunya which offers guided walking tours through the streets of Picasso's youth. Enjoy the Catalan Cuisine which is very diverse with lots of fresh ingredients and thanks to Barcelona’s Coastal location you will find a lot of seafood.
Between Barcelona and Valencia you will find the medieval treasures of Tarragona, an ancient port city. In the city center you will find incredible Roman Ruins and for our wine lovers explore the Garnache wine region.
In Valencia the architecture shows marks of Roman, Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance styles, which you will all find in the Cathedral. Enjoy panoramic views of the city.
Spain – Road trip from San Sebastian to Bilbao – Basque Country
This seaside region with one foot in France and one foot in Spain has a lot of medieval history, but also modern architecture and lots of culture. In addition, you will be very close to the Rioja Wine region.
The Basque countryside in the north of Spain has lots of colorful smaller towns. Let’s start in San Sebastian overlooking the Mediterranean Bay of Biscay and then continue through the countryside to Bilbao.
Art lovers will find in Bilbao the Frank Gehry’s world-renowned Guggenheim Museum!
